New Features for Retail & Medical Businesses

We’re pleased to announce several new improvements to Eigi Dukan, making it even more useful for retailers and healthcare-related businesses.

🏥 Medical Customer Details in Invoices

You can now record the following customer details directly from the More Details dropdown under the customer name field in the invoice form:

  • UHID
  • Age
  • Gender
  • Ordered by (doctor name)

These additions help diagnostic centres, clinics, laboratories, and other medical businesses create more complete billing records and invoices.

📄 Business Registration Number

A new Business Registration Number field has been added to Settings.

Once configured, the registration number can be displayed automatically on invoices, helping businesses maintain a more professional and compliant invoice format.

❓ New Help Tab

We’ve added a dedicated Help tab to the menu.

The Help section provides quick access to:

  • Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
  • Help Articles
  • Support Information

Users can now find assistance directly inside Eigi Dukan without leaving the software.


These updates further expand Eigi Dukan’s capabilities for retail stores, medical businesses, and service providers, while keeping billing and invoicing simple and efficient.

Enhanced Invoice Management

  • Sales Logs menu removed to simplify navigation.
  • Invoice page now serves as the central place to manage sales records.

Delivery Charge Support

  • Added Delivery Charge field to invoices.
  • Supports delivery charges with or without GST depending on invoice mode.
  • Delivery charges are displayed on customer invoices.

New Expenses Module

  • Record business operating expenses such as rent, staff salaries, courier charges, utility bills and other operating expenses.
  • Staff can add expense records.
  • Only business owners can delete expense records.

  • Total Inventory Items
  • Total Revenue (excluding GST)

Better GST Record Keeping

  • GST-registered businesses can maintain operating expense records for accounting and GST filing purposes.
  • Added success notifications when products are added, edited or deleted, providing instant confirmation that the action was completed successfully.
  • Enhanced the automatic discount percentage calculation for greater accuracy across products and invoices. We encourage all users to review their product pricing and discount information to take full advantage of these improvements.
  • Shop and business owners can now delete items directly from the Inventory Search results for faster inventory management.
  • Invoice status is now displayed below the customer name in the invoice table on mobile devices, making it easier to view important invoice information on smaller screens. This information was already available on tablet and desktop views and is now optimized for mobile as well.

We’ve made a few improvements to the Add Item form to make pricing fields clearer and easier to understand:

  • Base Price (MSRP) has been renamed to MRP
  • Cost Price (Buy) has been renamed to Cost Price
  • The Cost Price field now displays “Purchase Price” as its placeholder

Only the field names have been updated. All your existing data remains unchanged.

  • Added the Storage Location feature to the Add Item Form in the inventory section.
  • Added Barcode Scanning support with sounds & vibration feedback on successful scans.
  • Added Email Verification feature in Settings.
  • Low Stock & Expiry alerts are now available on all plans including the free plan.
